EFFEN 90 PS90 Custom Billet Receiver is one of those upgrades that will make your PS90 look and perform like a completely different firearm. The EFFEN 90 is an entire upper receiver with its own unique serial number that is as replacement for the Factory FN upper receiver. You have two configurations with the EFFEN 90.  

1. We can keep the PS90 a rifle and remove the existing front shroud which will allow us to remove the barrel, spring and charging handle. We then replace the old FN upper receiver with the new EFFEN 90 Billet Receiver and reinstall the 16″ barrel along with the original charging handles and a new 16″ threaded barrel shroud which will add 1/2 x 28mm threads to the front of the 16″ barrel. This option does not require any NFA paperwork but will require the firearm be shipped to an FFL because it is technically a “new firearm” with the new serial number.
2. If you want to SBR the EFFEN 90, have already applied for the stamp via form 1 or have received the stamp from the ATF and would like to use the EFFEN 90 receiver and SBR kit we can do the conversion for you. We always stock the CMMG PS90 SBR Kit which will require us to remove the original barrel shroud, remove all the parts off the original upper receiver, and swap the parts from the old receiver to the new EFFEN 90. Along with the parts swap we would install the 10.4″ barrel and receiver and PS90 Compensator if desired. If using a firearms trust then laser engraving of the trust name and county is required per ATF rules.
   

The EFFEN 90 uses the same action and lower assembly as the regular PS90 chambered in the 5.7x28mm cartridge, the FN PS90 utilizes blowback operation and fires from a closed bolt for greater accuracy and reliability. EFFEN 90 PS90 civilian legal 16.04″ cold hammer-forged MIL-SPEC barrel is equipped with an integrated muzzle brake to reduce recoil. Dual magazine latches, cocking handles and an innovative synthetic thumbhole stock with a molded-in sling attachment point help make the .EFFEN 90 PS90 fully ambidextrous. Models with 10 or 50 round polymer detachable magazines are available.
